Shown for the first time during the exhibition ' Thermo Photovoltaic Energy Converter ' on 21 October 2001 in the Winter Garden and the Verlatzaal of the Antwerp zoo, organised by Ronny Van de Velde. Hans Theys writes: "In 1992 the drawing 'Zonneauto' by Panamarenko was considered one of his finest drawings. That is why he asked me to identify the drawing, so that I could portray her in the thick book. After months of searching I found the drawing in the cabinet of a doctor, in a glass showcase, in the middle of a collection organs on alcohol, trophies of headhunters, bronze mermaids, cigar bands coated porto bottles, fossils, corals, kidney stones and Roman buckles.
