The Caribbean 26 was born in Australia in the 70s, original design by Bertram 25 Sport Fisherman, then evolved into the Bertram 26. Once expired the contract of licensed production (the Bertram had now removed these models from the catalogue), the Australians continued the production, making some interesting structural changes and furnishing.
