Two pieces of glassware Riihimäki in Finland.
The Riihimäki glassware was founded on February 2, 1910. In 1928, the Riihimäki glassware invited artists to the design competition. The decorative glass and accessory had become the inseparable part of the production program. The work initiated by Ericsson were pursued first by Arttu Brummer, Gunnel Nyman, Tyra Lundgren, Eva Gyldén, Yrjö Rosola and Antti Salmenlinna. In 1949, the Nordic design of glass design was won by Nanny Still . Also worked, among others, Timo Sarpaneva , Erkkitapio Siiroinen , Helena Tynell , Tamara Aladin. The production of glass and Riihimäki art stopped on November 30, 1976.
These two models are from the 1960-1970s.
The (transparent) vase in white glass is from Tamara Aladin while cutting in white glass (transparent) and yellow is of Aimo Okkolin.
