Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland - Three earthenware pieces with ‘Rhodian’ decor

3 beautiful earthenware pieces by Platteelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (Plazuid) in Gouda, in excellent condition. All three pieces with 'Rhodian' decor. Rhodian is a design linked to the names of the designers and painters Leen Muller and Daniël Harkink. Having said that, it should be mentioned that a lot of variations have been made over the years. Harkink, from the ‘Haagse Plateelbakkerij Rozenburg’, also was a gifted chemist, who experimented a lot with matte glaze. Later, the other earthenware factories, such as Regina, Goedewaagen or Arnhem followed his example and also started to used matte glaze. Ivora even had its matte glazes done by Plazuid! These three pieces are still from the early period of matte glaze: 1923 and 1926. The height of the smaller carafe is 11.5 cm, the height of the jug is 12.5 cm, while the diameter of the bonbonniere (decorated by A. Lansaat) is 13 cm and its height is 9 cm. As noted: in excellent condition. Of course, this beautiful earthenware will be packaged with the utmost care and sent by insured/registered mail. Pickup is also possible in Den Bosch, The Netherlands.
