Jaguar E-Type (XKE) Series II - Convertible - Pale Primrose Yellow 1970
One of the last produced before the series III and the most reliable series of all.
Matching: chassis / engine/ transmission (manual) / paint

New paint.
Black leather interior in very good condition with a lovely patina.
It works really well, nice engine with a fabulous sound, it is very pleasant to drive.

Engine/transmission:
The mechanics work perfectly.
It starts immediately.
It is stable in idle and the engine does not overheat.
Once warmed up, the engine runs normally.
The 4 speeds of the mechanical gearbox move up and down easily without hitches specifically at the level of the syncro. The grip of the clutch is good.
During the dynamic test, there was no abnormal noise coming from the body or the running gear (ball joints, silent blocs ...).
The brakes are aligned and their effectiveness remains conform with the norms of the period. The brakes have recently been completely flushed.

Body/exterior:
Jaguar E-Type 4.2L Series 2 convertible 1970 model in its "Primerose Yellow" colour of the time.
Chassis:
Placement on the bridge confirms a healthy body, without any signs of structural corrosion.
The fundamentals: side bars, floors, sills and wheel arches are in good condition.
The body has been recently restored.
The vehicle was completely repainted at the same time. The latter is now in a very lovely condition of presentation.
The openings are well aligned with the body.
The chrome bumpers are perfectly positioned and are in perfect condition.
The chrome embellishments are intact and in excellent condition.
The black leatherette roof is in very good condition, without snags, discolouration or signs of wear. Its installation is easy and it is properly sealed.
The PVC rear window is in very good condition without snags or yellowing.
Interior:
The interior was kept in its original configuration appears in lovely condition of presentation.
The black leather interior, is without stitching flaws or distension and has a light and homogeneous patina.
The door panels and the faux-leather trim matching the upholstery are in good condition, with no signs of wear, scratches or discolouration.
The dashboard and its black faux-leather cap are in good condition.
The four 15” chrome spoke rims are in excellent condition, without signs of damage or deformation. The chrome Jaguar knock-offs are in excellent condition, without impact or deep scratches.
The Michelin tyres are new, two running gears.
This copy has its spare tyre, its jack and its mallet.
