Five old tins by chocolate manufacturers with the star being an oval tin of ‘Tjoklat’.
1 Droste Cacao - 1975
On the top it says "au cacaoyer" and there is an image of a gentleman who is helping a lady out of
a carriage. Unlike "Droste Rood" this tin is mostly blue and beige.

2. Droste Cacao - picture of a gentleman and lady in a train compartment. No red cross with the
12.5 cm high Year unknown.
3 Cóte d'Or, gold-coloured chocolate tin.
On the tin there is an image of a man and woman in 18th century costumes. The tin is
marked on the bottom with Cote d’Or. Year unknown.
4. Droste, round chocolate tin. Sticker on the bottom marked Tjoklat B.V. Vlaardingen.
On the inside it says ‘Tjoklatfabriek N.V. Amsterdam’. 1984.
5. Droste, oval chocolate tin with Delft blue images. Circa 1975.
6. Tjoklat. Between 1910 and 1927. For the collector this is the cherry on top.
. Oval tin with wayang puppets and a god’s image, in relief it says "met Indische rietsuiker
bereid” by joint stock company “Hollandsche - Zwitsersche Chocoladefabriek Tjoklat, Amsterdam”.
This tin is absolutely unique and can only be found in museums.
The tin has some traces of wear and some oxidation.
