This magnificent black cast-iron coffee grinder is made by the Spong & Co. firm. Ltd. This firm was founded in 1856 in England by James Old Spong, who was then 16 years old. In the early years, they made other types of products, they started making coffee grinders in 1895. They made a total of 4 types of coffee grinders: no. 1, 2, 3 and 4. This no. 1 is in good condition and still works. Including an original coffee dripping tray and an original cast iron table clamp. With a coffee grinder you can grind your own coffee beans. Hand made coffee is much fresher than when you buy it ready ground Furthermore, the coffee grinder is ideal for mixing and grinding spices!
