Authentic Chihongo mask of the Chokwe tribe from Angola. The male mask is made of wood with a skull on the forehead and protruding feathers. These kind of masks symbolize wealth and power. Judicial powers were ascribed to this mask in the Chokwe community. The powerful mask is definitely still in a good condition considering the age.
Dimensions: 45 high x 15 Wide x 13 cm Deep
Weight: 700 grams.
