This is a hand-knotted Tabriz carpet made of durable, natural materials. Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this carpet unique and emphasise the authentic and traditional character. This Tabriz was made in India, they were originally made in Iran. Tabriz is one of Iran's oldest cities. Tabriz carpets come in various designs; they often depict old palaces or ruins. The most common colours are beige, blue and red. They are durable, high-quality carpets, often made of fine wool on a cotton warp. A good Tabriz has a short and rough pile. Tabriz rugs are excellent rugs for regular use and have a high durability.
This is a used rug, which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process. Main colour: Brick. Accent colours: cream, salmon, yellow, green and shades of blue. Particularities: rich gloss, bright colours.
