Who is MISS.TIC?
Born in 1956 / MONTMARTRE

Poet and Visual artist.
Leading urban artist Miss.Tic has been exhibiting on the walls of Paris since 1985 while abolishing the separation between exhibition space and art work. She let others see and read her work by making art accessible...

Eccentric artist or Parisian glamour, both elegant and popular, she tirelessly paints female figures in all imaginable poses, who do show a resemblance to the brunette artist herself. Concise and hard-hitting phrases that accompany these images are based on a subtle mixture of lightness and gravity, carelessness and provocation.

Through her stencils on multiple media, Miss.Tic plays simultaneously on the personal and the public with humour and clarity. For over 28 years, Miss.Tic has had personal and collective exhibitions worldwide, international fairs, commissions for companies and institutions, all while continuing to attract the crowds with her poetry and her cheeky characters affixed to the walls.

She mixes perennial media and ephemeral interventions in her work. Regularly exhibiting in France and abroad since 1986, acclaimed by the world of fashion (Kenzo, Louis Vuitton) and approached by the world of cinema (in 2007 she designed the poster for ‘La Fille coupée en deux’ by Claude Chabrol), Miss.Tic has also been involved in the 2010 anniversary edition of the Petit Larousse, illustrating French words and she created a set of twelve stamps for the French Post in 2011.

Forte épidermure non signalée au verso, visible au recto en plein centre de l'image. Dommage.
