Also an alarm clock, beginning 1900, The Netherlands (Dansk Patent)
This savings clock - alarm clock was made to pay the insurance premiums. Coins were inserted on top, making the clock run. This one has probably never been used. With some regularity, the man of the insurance company came to collect the premiums by emptying the clock. The original dish with this one has been replaced by a wooden plate.
The oak wooden clock is in very beautiful condition. It is 25 cm high and 17.5 cm wide. The clock is 8 cm deep. In the dial there’s an extra digit ring to set the alarm clock.
At the bottom the clock is numbered and it mentions that 1 krone has to be inserted.
