This horn is interesting in several respects.
First of all for its age.
Secondly for the way it was made: the techniques used to create the mechanics were revolutionary for their time and the treatment and finish suggest a high quality instrument.
Finally, the sound quality is high above the average for horns from this period and even those made later on.
Note the sophisticated engraving on the bell.
Of course it has had a long life and shows some wear from age (several dents on the bell and the tubes...).
