Vintage, for the collector. Antique copper opera glasses, c. 1900. Feels quite heavy in the hand, due to the copper construction. The condition is related to its age, the viewer is in used condition, the copper does have a nice patina for the display case. There is damage to the right curve, where half a decorative ring is missing and there is a small dent in the rear right ring. The turning mechanism still works properly. The name is shown in both lens curves, and, very difficult to read, in graceful engraved letters in the left lens holder, when you turn out the viewer completely. These opera glasses comes from the estate of my late father-in-law, who was an avid photo equipment and photo accessory collector was. Please see the photos for a good impression.
