Origin: Eastern Nigeria, border area with Cameroon, West Africa. Acquired in 1998 as an antique item

These figures are used as ancestor and guardian figures. The ancestor figures serve as a residence for ancestral spirits. Sacrifices are made to the figures to appease the ancestral spirits and to favor them
