Condition: book is like new, cassette in excellent used condition; up front is a (beautiful) ex libris (see the last photo).

¶ Jean Fouquet is considered the most important French miniaturist of the 15th century. He was court painter of the kings Charles VII and Louis XI and was the founder of the French school of the painting art. His style was based on that of the Van Eyck brothers and the Florentine school.
Etienne Chevalier was a French nobleman, working as treasurer for King Charles VII and his successor Louis XI.
The original rests in the Musée Condé in Chantilly, France.
