Mechanical, 1-day movement with quarter-hourly strike on two bells.

Rare, early, heavy timepiece, solidly built with completely iron gears, some of which have forged spokes. The clock features three movements: the running movement in front, and behind that the quarterly striking mechanism and hourly striking mechanism, side by side. Strikes each quarter of an hour, 1, 2, 3 or 4 times, on the small bell. On the hour, it strikes the number of hours on the large bell.
The rods, case and doors are made of iron. The two openwork hands are also made of iron. The square dial (approx. 18 x 18 cm) is painted and has a number of old restorations, see photos. Iron, painted pediment on the top of the clock. The clock runs and strikes, but cleaning is recommended. Has three iron weights and three lead counterweights. Measurements: W 18.5 x H 30 x D 13.5 cm. De klok is goed verpakt verstuurd. Het uurwerk is sterk versleten en schoonmaken zoals door verkoper aanbevolen, alleen is niet afdoende. Klok loopt niet regelmatig en slagwerk functioneert niet goed.
