Italy, first half of the 20th century, wood and iron, in good condition
Lot of carpenter’s tools from the 1920s-1930s found in Italy.
Lot consisting of old screwdriver with star tip made of iron and lacquered wooden handle in good condition. Old hand-drill - hole-puncher made of iron with wooden handles, fully functional mechanism in very good condition. Two wooden rods with iron blades in very good condition, one is marked with ‘M’ initials. Awl marked with producer on the tip made of iron and wooden handle in good condition. Finally a manual hole-puncher with iron tip and wooden handles.
Three large wooden vises in fair condition, still intact with still working mechanism. Size: 25 x 14 x 3.5 cm (length ca. 40 cm with entirely unscrewed lever), 23.5 x 18.5 x 3.5 cm (length ca. 35 cm entirely unscrewed lever) and 27.5 x 14.5 x 4.5 cm (length ca. 45 cm with entirely unscrewed mechanism).
Two large iron vises used for other purposes. Still functioning and greased mechanisms. Probably hand-made vises with visible welding. No signs of rust Size: 20 x 14.5 x 3 cm The removable part is almost 15 cm
Another iron artifact, an old nail for wooden beam, usually used to support and sustain heavy weights. Dimensions: length 12.5 cm
In the lot there is also a handmade old wooden artifact - an antique coat hanger with iron hook on back, in very good condition.
