BEOLAB 8000 MK2 SPECIFICATIONS:

Over the years BeoLab 8000 became, like its smaller partner the BeoLab 6000, an icon of Bang & Olufsen design and testament to the excellent sound which it produced. The speaker’s technical specifications remained untouched until the MKII version was released when it was manufactured with newer driver units which delivered extra bass reproduction at low listening levels. Not quite on a par with a sub-woofer per se, BeoLab 8000 nevertheless had an audible improvement over its previous models. The upgrade of technology involved new frequency equalization and an improved ABL system to allow the speaker to play deep bass at its most advantageous.

A tall column speaker shaped like a church organ and sitting upon a very small footprint, the curved minimalist design of BeoLab 8000 eliminated sharp edges or joints which could compromise sound quality. The speakers were magnetically shielded in order to be situated in close proximity to a television monitor.

DESCRIPTION

Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 8000 Mk2 (bass enhanced) active loudspeaker finished in a beautiful silver aluminum with black fronds. This iconic pencil-shape design has stood the test of time and remains one of B&O's most successful and longest-running products. The 'Mk2' variant with the improved bass response for deeper lows is a must for lovers of dance and R&B music. This pair is an absolute gem, extremely rare to find on the pre-owned market, the very best of Bang & Olufsen.

BeoLab 8000 have multiple applications. They are ideal for front speakers in a stereo setup or featured in a true 5.1 "cinema surround sound" set up. They can either work independently with our wireless wifi module or as part of a B&O installation or with almost any make of TV.


CONDITION

The speakers are in excellent condition, full working order and sound beautiful. There are two areas with signs of light wear: one super light scratch to the back case some small, We would mark the cosmetic condition as a strong 9 out of 10
