I am offering  a beautiful  vintage Sennheiser microphone  in a MINT condition !
Type MD 421-HL , Tuchel - connection, with professional XLR - adapter cable. Has a 2-pos. M-S switch.
HL or HN means High-Low or in German Hoch-Niedrig impendance. ( 30kOhm or 200 Ohm)  This is switchable inside the mic by changing wire connections. The "M" Music or the "S" Speech switch realizes a freq-dependent voltage dividing between the coil of the capsule and an inductance with variable magnetic field, which is screened against noise fields. Both for studio, radio broadcast, instrument or (group) vocal, it is a grail item if every collector. My humble home studio has gained some of it's astonishing recordings. One listen and you know why it is a classic.


This one is from 1970. Nr. 7969. In its original blue wooden case (inlay foam is porous but original).
The microphone has been tested by broadcast studio technicians and is in perfect working condition, hardly used and has that original very warm and full sound. I've been using it for half a year, before it belonged to a music studio in Germany, where it stayed as a replacement.
Complete with Sennheiser original hardcase (original clip, special made pro adapter cable Tuchel din-XLR, 4m)
