Bang & Olufsen BeoGram 9000 record player

This is a special record player, the BeoGram 9000. A beautiful design by Jacob Jensen. Fits in every interior and plays beautifully. Made in 1987. The design is characterised by the chic matte black materials, combined with a brushed metal decorative panel. The cover is dark tinted, through which you can just see the aluminium platter, very nicely made. A fully automatic turntable equipped with the revolutionary tangential arm. Partly due to the low needle pressure, from only 1.5 grams. this turntable plays beautifully and is very gentle with your records. This is a fantastic device in technical sense. A fully automatic player with the famous tangential tonearm. This technology, developed by B&O from the 1970s, provides the best possible music reproduction. Pressing “play” is enough to start the player, the turntable starts, checks the size of the record and lowers the tonearm precisely into the groove. The speed is also automatically chosen. The speed is shown on the second arm next to the tonearm via a small display. Really a well-functioning turntable by B&O, it can be electronically operated with a few buttons. Play, fast forward, electronic stop all work perfectly. The lift button is the pause function. By pressing play multiple times, the player goes into repeat mode and you can even listen to the record for seven times. All lights work and it looks beautiful. The aluminium decorative panel on top has some light signs of wear, but in very nice overall condition for a device of 30 years old. The cartridge is a good MMC-5. A beautiful cartridge because of the elliptically cut diamond tip. Including adapter cable from DIN to RCA. Can simply be connected to any amplifier with a phono input by means of the RCA plugs. Dimensions: 42 x 7.5 x 32.5 cm Product will be shipped carefully.
