Biography: Bruno Dario is a fairly unusual artist in the Friulian scene. An interesting painter with a personal style, he began to exhibit in Majano at the end of the 1960s with some abstract works. The next step to an expression nearer to figurative art drew the interest of some art dealers who, between the 1970s and 1990s, offered him the opportunity of living off his painting. His goal is to be able to depict emotions experienced on canvas, using both quick spatula strokes and a bright palette. The act of painting is itself a moment of joy and continuous challenge, a daily reinterpretation of well-known spaces, aimed at discovering impressions increasingly new. The same happens to the audience looking at his paintings, who can identify in such chromatic mass, imposing itself on their gaze, some elements characterizing the environment and situations that gradually seem to emerge before their eyes.
