This is a very fine original German second world war medal in used condition with much character.
The medal is marked in the ring with "3", this indicates that the Medal was created by the manufacturer: Wilhelm Deumer from Lüdenscheid.
The Winterschlacht im Osten medals were granted to all German soldiers who actually had fought against the Russians on the eastern front and were held in high regard by the Germans.
With the original ribbon, really a Medal with very much character. Beautiful collectable condition, a very nice item.
