Pair of Flintlock Traveling French Consulat period pistols late XVIII century ( 1799/1804), in case. Half Round cannons ,half eightfold ,smooth bore ending in cannon shape, garrisons in plain steel. Walnut Stocks with beatifull " quadrillé" .caliber 14 mm.Nice locks, working perfectly . Original steel rods ." St Etiénne" proof marks. Cross Butts caracteristic from Consulat period, beatifull shinning patina.
In a XIX century mahogany case( this is not the original case), central scutcheon in brass, not used, with key. Interior lined with velvet, compartmentalized, containing: powder flask nineteenth century in brass ( same dents and bosses but a rare one; lubrificant bottle, unmarked; XIX century steel mold and apocriphal screwdriver with rosewood handle . Signs of use appropriate to the age and facelifts.
