Sabre with matching sheath, made of solid copper or copper alloy. The sheath has an antique repair (see photo). The sabre fits perfectly into the sheath. The sabre has etchings (see photos). The sheath is in very nice condition (both the leather as the winding). Identifying it has proven to be tricky. It’s possibly of Dutch, Bavaria or Austrian origin. It does clearly date back to around 1750-1800. All in all, this is a very nice and rare sabre. Will be shipped by insured mail.
