Sterling Silver 925/1000 - 269 grams
A stunning pair of sterling silver salt and pepper shakers in the form of boiled eggs sitting in silver egg cups. These are life size and very realistic. The white egg shells are decorated in white enamel. By the sought after modern silversmith Anthony Elson who’s pupil was Gerald Benney. The eggs have a bayonet fitting at the bottom, they unscrew from their egg cups and the inside of the salt shaker is gilded.

Condition : One of the eggs has a hairline on the white enamel, the egg with the silver top has a mark on the enamel at the bottom due to the twist mechanism being over turned (picture 4), white enamel is not perfectly white and does have some slight blemish due to it's age, great and pleasant overall condition with no serious damage, please see pictures for a better judgement of the items condition.
