All in mint condition
On offer is
1) the complete set of the legendary Beatles album stamps from the Royal Mail, issued January 2007.
All stamps still on their original self-adhesive sheets in vertical display.
The stamps are together on one sheet according to their value.
The albums depicted in order of denomination are "Help & Abbey Road" on the 64p stamps.
"With the Beatles" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band " on the first-class stamp. Finally "Revolver" and "Let it Be", are on the 72p high value.
The stamps, with their irregular self-adhesive shapes, are cleverly free formed around a crooked stack of albums.
That were framed at the time of purchase by a professional framing shop in a nice wooden frame with glass cover and have hung ever since.
37,3 x 30,2 centimeters
2) Second item is an enlarged photograph of the the Bed-In of John & Yoko at the Amsterdam Hilton hotel in 1969.
Framed in a solid aluminum frame with glass front cover.
The photograph is not signed or marked. It is an enlargement.
There are hundreds if not thousands od pictures of the Bed-In as it was an "everybody welcome" event.
46 x 57.5 centimeters
Picture only: 40,5 x 52,5 centimeters
Excellent to mint for both items.
1) Stamps were framed soon after purchase and are in mint condition. Perhaps very minor fading through sunlight.
Frame in excellent undamaged condition with only one minor scuff to the upper border. We have not opened the frame so cannot give the exact details of the framing.
2) The picture is taped to the passe-partout with only one line of tape at the upper edge which normally should be easy to remove if so desired.
Please refer to the pictures.
