Ford Transit Mk 1 with twin wheels. The engine and brakes are in excellent condition. The van belonged to the fire department and has just become a classic car (free road tax and cheap insurance). It has a Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection which is valid until 2019. The thermostat, the timing gears of the engine, the water pump, gasket of the lower block and the balance shaft seal have recently been renewed. The brake shoes, the oil filter and the oil have also recently been renewed. Invoices available. It drives like a charm, both in winter and in summer. It weighs around 1500 kg and could have another 1500 kilos in the cargo space. The cargo space is empty. There is a double bed base inside, which comes with the van. Fun with a few mattresses, a gas cylinder, a stove and off you go. Technically it is very good, a rarity. It also still has a nice bright red paint, driving in this car is a lot of fun, a lot of admiring glances and greetings from other owners of vintage cars. It is sold because I quit my company and it deserves a more active life. It can be admired in Enschede (the Netherlands).
