The book contains an extensive anthology of texts and images documenting the art treasures of Italy, from the most to least known.
The work, conceived and curated by Gianni Guadalupi and Flaminio Gualdoni, consists of seven volumes, and is divided into three sections arranged chronologically in three elegant slipcases, for a total of about 1500 pages and over 1000 images.
Structure of the work:
Section 1, Da Roma alla Rinascita, dall'arte antica al Medioevo, 2 volumes;
Section 2, I Secoli d'Oro, dal Rinascimento al Barocco, 3 volumes;
Section 3, L'Età moderna, dal Settecento al Novecento, 2 volumes.

Size: Each volume is 23x30x3.5, covered with black Orient silk with gold tooling on the plate and on the spine and it has a label, printed in colour on matte 130 gr paper, cut and applied by hand on the cover.
Binding: The slipcases, handmade in circular shape, covered with fabric and finished with leather with labels applied by hand on each side.
Printer: The texts, composed with Bodoni type body 12/13, and the colour images were printed on Gardamatt matte paper, 200 gr, at the printing house of Dr. Lamberto Pigini in Loreto.
