Superb and rare Remington VEST POCKET made from 1865 to 1888 in approx. 25,000 copies in blue or nickel finish (much rarer)
This is one of the first piece manufactured end 1866 early 1867.
It wears the serial number 1187 (marking under barrel - on body under plate of butt)
Marking on barrel: REMINGTON'S ILION, N.Y. PATENT OCT 1.1861

Very straight percussion Good mechanism and spring.
Very slight damage (of the order of mm) on the right plate.
The weapon is in its original condition, with some traces of its 150 years, but in very good condition.
Very nice collectible.
