An attractive couple of Chinese blanc de Chine libation cups of a good size, made in the Dehua kilns in Fujian Province, and dating from the Kangxi period.
One cup is formed as a bowl, which copies the form of a (rhino) horn, supported on a foot formed from branches which end in magnolia flowers on one side and prunus blossoms on the other.
The other one with several animals such as a deer, a foo-dog, a crane and a dragon.
The decoration is made in relief and the rim is scalloped.
this cup is likely made during the early Kangxi reign.
Condition: Good, some minor glaze spots from the kiln, further perfect (no damage) the firing spots are visible, but not disturbing.
Dimensions: 6 cm high, 8.5cm wide on it's widest point.
