Ertl/AutoWorld brings the Custom 1969 DODGE CHARGER 500 in Scale 1/24. In terms of styling this fits perfectly with the Kaiser Henry J Thrillcade. Because though the Dodge Charger is 18 years younger, it's a purebred American Sports coupe with 2 doors. In essence equivalent.
What a difference in design within 18 years, wonderful to have these 2 next to each other in your collection.
The 1969 Dodge Charger 500 is without a doubt an icon in the muscle racing group. With its clean lines and muscular silhouette it was thé muscle car in America.
The Charger 500 was the competitor for the For Cyclone on the NASCAR oval courses. Only 500 of the 89.200 produced Chargers were prepared for the NASCAR races and equipped with the 426 HEMI engine. Connoisseurs know enough now.
AutoWorld has created a gem here. Manufactured in blue metallic with a matte black roof, complete in the style of back then. The chromed five spoke rims at the rear are extra wide and larger. The power is written all over it.
