Five stone ruby and diamond circa 1900 set in unhallmarked yellow metal tested as 18 carat gold. Slightly convex mount with carved scroll settings and shoulders. Mount measurements length 17 mm, 6 mm wide, 3.75 mm depth at centre tapering to sides of 4 Mandy leading to a 2.2 mm “D” section shank. The stones consist of three rubies mixed cut centre - oval near cushion semi transparent medium. Magenta. Approximate measurements length 5.5 mm, width 4.9 mm, depth 2.45 mm estimated @ 0.57 carats. End stones - more translucent average size length 4.4 mm, width 3.7 mm, depth 2.2 mm @ 0.30 carats each. Diamonds slightly off round old cut and positioned one to either side of centre ruby. Colour H/I clarity of both assessed as SI due to some small facet nicks. Approximate measurements 3.6 mm diameter, 2.2 mm and 2.3 mm depth @ 0.18 and 0.19 carats respectively.
