Porcelain charger, Arms of the Amsterdam Tax Collector, guild - China - 18th century (Qing dynasty, 1644-1912)
A very rare charger. Made around 1750 during the reign of Qianlong. Bearing the arms of the Tax collectors gilt of Amsterdam. Only 12 pieces from this service are known to have survived. Almost all are in Museum collections. Other tax collectors dishes in the Nijenhuis castle in Heino where Hannema de Stuers lived.
This is a large 34.5cm charger.
Overall Condition B (Good Used ); 1 hairline that is profesionaly sealed and made invisible. Size 345mm
