A very exclusive women's watch, made c. 1925 by the then famous watch maker, inventor and industrialist Paul Ditisheim, a member of the renowned watch makers' family Ditisheim (founders of, among others, the brand 'Vulcain' which was loved by former American presidents). The watch has an 18 kt white gold case (40 x 17 mm, without crown) and a 14 kt white gold bracelet with safety chain, bracelet length approx. 15 cm. The weight of the watch (case and movement) is approx. 16 grams, the strap weighs about 4 grams. The top of the case and the bracelet are set with a total of 48 diamonds. The watch has a silver-plated dial with blue steel hands. The crown is set with a sapphire cabochon. The signature 'Türler' comes from the eminent jeweller's house in Zürich which still exists today.
