Qianlong Chine de commande tea set, consisting of 20 pieces. According to the book Armorial porcelain for the Dutch market, the dot floral design was commissioned as Chine de Commande around 1730/60.
The set still has many pieces and most are in very good condition.
The set consists of:
1 tea caddy1
1 Milk jug
1 sugar bowl
1 biscuit plate
1 larger plate
Condition and measurements
Teapot: Nearly perfect, just some wear to the gold decorations on the lid. Height 15 cm, original lid.
Tea Caddy: Nearly perfect. Also some wear to the gold decorations and a very small chip to the lid. Height 13 cm Original lid
Milk jug: Nearly perfect. I think the lid was not included originally but it fits well. Height: 15.5 cm.
Biscuit plate: Diameter 12.5 cm, perfect condition
Larger plate: Diameter 20.5 cm. Perfect condition.
Sugar bowl: 2 small chips on the edge. Height 6 cm, diameter 12 cm
7 cups and saucers:
1 cup and saucer perfect.
Two cups and three saucers with miniscule chips to the edges.
Three cups and two saucers with rim fritting, 2 cups and saucers have small microcracks.
