Good condition with old restoration on the rear fascia
This burnished wooden console (probably in walnut) can be dated back to the early 18th century, in the Piedmontese Baroque period.
Is characterized by an elaborate execution on legs with an upward movement and a top shaped with lobes along the edge. The front panel has a double wavy pattern on the sides of the central drawer, decorated with a cartouche and a central rosette.
Its small dimensions and refined workmanship make it a precious and elegant antique item.
The whole surface is still covered by a beautiful patina from ageing.
Condition: in good condition; the rear fascia, which is not visible, underwent an old restoration. Old woodworm traces are visible, see pictures. Small signs of wear on top and elsewhere.
Dimensions: height 80 cm; top max. dimensions 53 x 93 cm.
Given the size of the lot, withdrawal and shipment are the expense of the purchaser.
