The booklet is otherwise in very good condition.
The three-part series Kyōsai Hyakuzu, One-Hundred Pictures by Kyōsai, exists of over 200 representations of proverbs and other popular subjects not related to proverbs.
The pictures were issued as single woodblock prints in packs of 10 between 1863 and 1866 by the publisher Wakasaya, and were later reprinted by the publisher Ōkura Magobei (Ōkuraya) in 1881 and 1886.
