Very well playable solid body Stratocaster with an alder body and a maple neck. Made in Japan in the 1980s. Cimar is a sub-brand of Ibanez. The guitar is practically intact and completely original, except for the two control switches. The guitar has a straight neck with low action (well playable). The bridge has brass saddles. The sound is hardly les than that of a ‘real’ Stratocaster. Contrary to most Strats, this guitar is without a tremolo arm, the strings pass through the body (hardtail), which is better for the sustain. In short, a nice, well playable and good sounding Strat for little money.
