1924, Delft, The Netherlands
Jenever jug from 1924, De Porceleyne Fles.
Made in commission by the 'Erven Lucas Bols', the Amsterdam liquor factory, De Porceleyne Fles produced from 1880 through 1940 jugs and other earthenware items.
This is an intact jug from 1924 with stop (!), the so-called model ‘hoog oud’. It has cartouche with a landscape with mills and flower motifs as decoration. The monogram ‘ELB anno 1575’ is also there. The height without the stop is 21.2 cm.
The year code is ‘AT’, meaning 1924.
