A nice antique african art carved tusk from ivory from the former Belgian colony Congo representing a woman divinity and some man heads .
These kind of items were brought back to Belgium around 1930 just before the war by colonists and were commissioned in the Kasai area of Congo,
Total height 32 cm, weight 432 grams.
This is antique ivory.
The provider ensures that this item is antique ivory, made before 1947 and therefore permitted under CITES regulations. This item will be delivered with a certificate of the Ruyten appraisal office, expert Jan Willem Ruyten.
Will be sent by registered mail only within Europe.
For any shipment outside of Europe, special permits are requested, which will, in all likelihood, not be granted.
