The Le Corbusier LC3 Outdoor armchair was designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for the Italian-based Cassina. 

The label has been an invaluable part of the international design world for about 100 years now, and the diverse collection has been awarded with various prizes since 1954.  The secret of Cassina lays in the collaboration with designers who work in various disciplines and hold diversified interests. 

Just like most of the other furniture from the LC series, the Le Corbusier LC3 Outdoor armchair too was created in 1928–1929.  

Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand are the leading designers from the previous century.  Their LC furniture series was initially created as part of several interior projects.  Independently of one another the trio designed buildings, houses, furniture and home accessories, among other things.
