A dive into the 1910s and more widely the Belle Epoque Paris in the popular neighborhoods where rapine and prostitution live, a hodgepodge of bars, filthy hotels and streets lit up by gas burners. Between attacks of morality and assassinations, the reader moves in a universe narred in the slang register of the time. It gives pride to homosexuality.
André DIGNIMONT (1891-1965) was one of the prominent figures of Montmartre from between the wars. Painter, poster artist and Illustrator.
