Kulango maternité - Fine Ancestress Figure with child. Scarification on head and body, nice patina.
The Kulango occupy a region in the Northwest Côte d'Ivoire that borders Burkina Faso and Ghana . The majority (90%) continue to practice their traditional ethnic religions. Kulango figures are rare on the tribal market, especially these maternité figures with typical Kulango hair dress.
