A work from his Roman period in the workshop of Phlippe Thomassin.
Showing paintings from S. Pietro and S. Paolo fuori le mura, now mostly lost.
With full plate border and tread margins on a dense laid paper from the period.
Good impressions in excellent condition.

Jacques Callot ( 1592 - 1635)
Etcher and draughtsman, born Nancy. 1608-1611 in Rome; 1612-1621 in Florence, working for the Medici; in 1621 returned to Nancy, where he settled and married.
