1980 - 1989, Italy
On offer in very good, vintage condition: entirely original and very exclusive Poltrona Frau sofa.
The design from the early 1980s was made by the famous Tito Agnoli. This is a 3-seater (225 cm) sofa, made with the very best Pelle Frau leather (body saddle leather), colour: cognac. Very nice stitching and details.
The patina is truly astounding and the sofa is extremely comfortable.
Perfect symmetry and an eye for construction detail. The structure is upholstered in Saddle hide, Pelle Frau® leather, whilst cushions can be provided in Pelle Frau® leather.
From Ferraris to the EU Parliament - many of the most exclusive places in the world offer leather seating by Poltrona Frau.
Tito Agnoli was born into an Italian family, in Lima, Peru, in 1931.
Several times recommended for the Compasso d'Oro (Golden Compass) Award, in 1986 he won the gold medal at the Neocon in Chicago. Some of his pieces are kept in the permanent collection of the MoMa in New York. He died in Milan on February 2012.
Extremely rare item (not being manufactured any more since 1989) with original receipt from 1984 (1 owner).
Comparable current price level: €16000
