Seiko - 7009-3170 - 9N6051 - Men - 1980-1989

Unworn, unused. Rarity, unavailable in any site. The Seiko 7009-3170 is a 36mm men's automatic watch with a stainless steel case and an analog dial protected by acrylic crystal. It uses a 7009 caliber self-winding mechanical movement that cannot be manually wound or hacked (the second hand does not stop when the crown is pulled out). It ticks 6 times per second which gives the second hand a smoother movement than quartz watches which tick once per second. The watch should run for up to 43 hours when fully wound and will self-wind when moved. Rarity that does not appear to be available for purchase on any site. The case of the 7009-3170 measures approximately 36mm wide (not including the crown) by 10mm thick and is water resistant to 30 meters. This should be sufficient for splashes & rain but is not recommended for baths, showers, swimming or diving. The stainless steel bezel is fixed (cannot be rotated). The gap between the lugs is 18mm.
