This is a hand-knotted Abadeh carpet, made of durable, natural materials. Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this carpet unique and emphasise its authentic and traditional character.
Abadeh is located in central Iran (between Shiraz and Isfahan). An Abadeh carpet has medallions in the corners and often a hexagonal medallion in the centre.

It is a used carpet, which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.
This rug was imported from Iran before 2000.
