Micro-Professor MPF-1B - US - 1981 - complete with original box,

In 1981 Multitech (Acer) introduced their first educational computer on the market: the Micro-Professor MPF-1. This computersystem was based on the Zilog Z80. The smal printboard had a 1,7MHz processor, a calculator-like keyboard with 36 keys and a 6-numbers 7-segment LED display. There was also a 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface for reading the keyboard and 4KB ROM and 2KB RAM in a 2732 EPROM and a 6116 RAM chip. There were also 3 empty IC-holders for memory expansion (EPROM or RAM), and 2 empty IC-holders for a Z80 Parallel I/O and a Z80 Counter Timer. De MPF-1 had a small loudspeaker, connections for a cassetterecorder and an area for soldering small electronic circuits. The case could be stored on a bookshelf. De MPF-1 was programmed in Z80 assembly. The manual gives many examples of for instance timers and games. This item is complete one, and is provided with the original cardboard box (in good condition), the plastic book-like cassette, 3 original books, 2 Dutch translations , the manual, an additional expirimental extension, the Z80 Parallel I/O & Z80 Counter Timer ic's , Basic keyboard overlay and the AC adaptor.
