Art Nouveau - Jugendstil - Art Deco
A beautiful, very detailed silver bowl bearing amber cabochons; the open-worked border of the bowl depicts six different maritime scenes, see photos 4-10. Each scenario has been shaped with detail in with care and filigree, like the seagull hunting for a fish who is poking its head out of the water (photos 6/7). A fantastic demonstration of silversmithing. In good, age-appropriate condition - probably unique - handmade
