A Japanese carved ivory Okimono, Meiji period (1868 - 1912) Carved as mother and child dressed in traditional dress, the boy holding a cricket cage, small hole to the back of child and piece missing from Mothers hand. signed to the base,, 14.5cm. weight 250 g.
